Climbing week
Terms & Conditions

1. RESPONSIBILITY
In case of unforeseen events or circumstances affecting the safety of the trip or participants, TRAD reserves the right, before or during the activity, to modify schedules, routes, or itineraries, without any compensation.

Participants should be aware that mountain activities carry risks due to local conditions (distance from medical centers, limited phone coverage, uneven terrain, etc.). By joining, participants accept these risks and release TRAD from any liability.

Good physical condition and a positive attitude for group participation are essential to enjoy the Summer Climbing Week.

All activities are led by certified guides (mountain guides, or climbing instructors with proper certification). TRAD is not responsible for activities booked outside of our programs.

 

2. RESERVATION

  1. To join the Summer Climbing Week, participants must submit a booking request via our registration form.
     

  2. After receiving the request, TRAD will process the booking confirmation.
     

  3. TRAD is responsible for technical errors in the booking system that are caused by the company.
     

  4. TRAD is not responsible for errors caused by the participant or by extraordinary circumstances outside our control.
     

3. CANCELLATION BY PARTICIPANT
Participants can cancel at any time before the camp starts. The following fees apply:

  • 20% for administration costs
     

  • 40% if cancelled between 90 and 60 days before the camp
     

  • 100% if cancelled 60 days or less before the start, or in case of no-show
     

Participants may transfer their spot to someone else.

 

4. CANCELLATION BY TRAD BEFORE THE CLIMBING WEEK
If TRAD cancels for reasons not caused by the participant, the total amount paid will be refunded within 14 days.

The camp requires a minimum number of participants. If the minimum is not reached, TRAD  may cancel up to 30 days before, refunding the full amount paid, without any additional compensation.

TRAD is not responsible for cancellations caused by events beyond our control (pandemics, natural disasters, etc.).

 

5. WEATHER-RELATED CANCELLATIONS

When weather or conditions make the planned activity impractical, the guide will propose another date for the activity. If the client is unable to make that new date, an alternative activity will be offered.

  • If extreme weather conditions make outdoor activities impossible, the guide will cancel and issue a full refund.

  • No refunds will be issued if an activity is interrupted due to weather conditions.


 

6. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES

The client is responsible for:

  • Following all instructions provided by the guide or TRAD staff during activities.

  • Informing us of any medical or physical conditions that may affect their participation in the activities.

  • Obtaining personal insurance that covers mountain and climbing activities.

  • Properly using the equipment provided at all times.

TRAD is not responsible for injuries, damages, or losses incurred during activities unless caused by direct negligence on the part of TRAD.

7. SAFETY

Safety is our top priority. All our guides are trained and experienced in the activities we offer. However, clients acknowledge that adventure activities such as climbing, hiking, snowshoeing, skiing or mountaineering carry inherent risks, and by participating, they assume these risks.
Clients must ensure they have personal insurance covering mountain and climbing activities.

8. COMPLAINTS & HEALTH
Participants should inform the guide or TRAD immediately of any issues during the activity. Complaints are subject to a 2-year limitation period.

For health matters, participants must contact their insurance provider. If no insurance is in place, the participant assumes full responsibility.

 

9. COPYRIGHT OF IMAGES AND VIDEOS

All visual content on this website, including photos, videos, and other media, is the property of TRAD Adventures AS or is used with proper permission from the original creators. These materials are protected by copyright laws and may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, published, downloaded, modified, or used in any way without prior written consent from TRAD Adventures AS or the respective copyright holder.

 

Unauthorized use of any visual content may constitute a violation of intellectual property rights and may result in legal action.
