Frequently Asked Questions
We're based in Lofoten Islands all year-round.
We offer outdoor climbing experiences, climbing courses, guided hikes, and family-friendly activities in summer.
We offer skiing, snowshoeing, winter hiking and mountaineering in winter.
And we can also organize custom tours based on your interests and skill level. What sets us apart is how we tailor each experience to you
Here’s what’s part of the adventure:
A skilled and certified local climbing guide.
All the necessary technical climbing equipment.
What’s not included:
Transportation.
Meals and snacks.
Personal gear.
Absolutely no previous experience is needed. Most people who join us are trying this for the first time, and that’s totally fine. We keep things simple, safe, and adapted to you from the start.
What really matters to us is that you feel comfortable and enjoy the experience. Your guide will adjust the pace, the terrain, and the level of challenge so it fits you, not the other way around.
And if you already have some experience, we can take it further. There are plenty of routes and terrain to challenge yourself a bit more, and we’re happy to shape the day around what you’re looking for.
You don’t need to be super strong for this. If you’re comfortable moving around and spending a few hours outdoors, you’re more than ready.
Most of what we do isn’t about strength anyway. It’s more about how you move, taking things step by step, and getting used to a new environment. That applies whether you’re climbing, hiking, ski touring, or out with snowshoes.
We offer half-day activities, full-day experiences, and multi-day adventures. The duration depends on the activity you choose.
While we don't provide specific travel insurance, we strongly recommend that all participants purchase medical insurance to cover any unexpected medical expenses, accidents, or emergencies during your adventure. Having proper coverage will ensure peace of mind while you focus on enjoying the climb.
Yes, we can customize experiences for larger groups, families, and corporate events.
Our guides are certified (TD2 in climbing and mountaineering) with extensive experience working in mountain environments like Lofoten. Your safety is our top priority.
We provide all necessary certified equipment and follow strict safety protocols. Additionally, each activity is tailored to the participants’ skill level and weather conditions.

We provide all the gear needed for the activities, and we’ll make sure everything fits properly and feels comfortable.
The only exception is ski touring equipment. For those activities, you’ll need your own skis, boots, and skins. Avalanche safety gear is included.
If you don’t have ski equipment, no problem. We can recommend a trusted local partner where you can rent everything you need.
Other suggested items:
A daypack large enough to carry all of your items (about a 40L bag).
Waterproof and windproof jacket
Water and snacks
Sunscreen
Sunglasses
A camera (optional, but you'll definitely want to capture the scenery!).
Depending on the activity, we recommend comfortable clothing, hiking boots, a waterproof jacket, and sun protection. We supply all technical equipment, such as harnesses, helmets, and ropes.
You can book directly through our website, send us an email, or contact us by phone.
If the weather conditions make climbing unsafe and we need to cancel the trip, you will have the option to either reschedule for a later date or receive a full refund.
