ABOUT THE ADVENTURE
"The Goat of Svolvær" is one of the most iconic peaks of Lofoten . This granite pinnacle rises abruptly above the town of Svolvær and is famous for its two "horns" that form the summit, offering breathtaking views. We’ll start with a 40-minute hike from the parking lot at the base of Svolværgeita, crossing typical arctic mountain terrain. Once at the base of the wall, your certified guide will gear you up and explain everything you need to know to climb safely. We'll ascend a classic two-pitch route all the way to the twin horns at the summit, where you'll enjoy spectacular views of the fjord, the surrounding mountains, and the town of Svolvær. The climb is suitable for anyone in good physical condition, with no previous experience required. The experience may be a challenge for those with a fear of heights, but we’ll overcome it together! You'll be secured by rope and safety gear at all times. This is a unique opportunity to experience real vertical adventure in one of Norway’s most breathtaking landscapes.
