Who is this for?
Climbers with prior experience in alpine or multi-pitch environments, good physical fitness, and a desire to enjoy a long, demanding day in the mountains.

Maximum of 2 climbers per guide.
Included
We provide all necessary technical gear: ropes, helmet, harness, and protection.
What to bring
Appropriate mountain footwear and clothing, snacks, water, and an extra warm layer.
Duration
Approximately 8 -12 hours.

The activity is weather-dependent. If it cannot take place, we will attempt to reschedule or provide a full refund. Cancelation at the latest 7 days in advance.

THE EXPERIENCE
Climbing Vågakallen is a complete journey: from the physical effort of the approach to the emotional reward of reaching the summit.
The North Ridge is known for its varied climbing sections, ranging from easy scrambles to technical pitches that demand skill and focus (N4+). Every step on this route reveals spectacular landscapes that you won't forget.
DAY DETAILS
Start: We’ll meet in the morning to review the itinerary, prepare equipment, and have a briefing before heading to the mountain.
Approach: A 2-3 hour hike will take us to the start of the ridge. The access route traverses wild areas, adding an extra dimension to the adventure.
Climbing: The route combines technical climbing pitches with scrambling and exposed sections. The famous chimney and a jump at the end!
Descent: After enjoying the views from the top, we’ll begin the descent through the normal route, which will take around 3 hours to return to the starting point.
